Orvieto - Umbria

Orvieto è una cittadina che si trova in Umbria a circa 1 ora di auto da Terni. Come la maggior parte delle città medievali umbre è immersa nel verde e si erge sopra un colle. E' una città molto carina che vale la pena vedere se vi in Umbria ed è famosa principalmente per 2 cose: la cattedrale ed il pozzo di S. Patrizio. Qui troverete alcune foto di entrambi. Il pozzo è particolare perchè è costituito da 2 scalinate a spirale percorribili da muli che non si incontrano mai. Lungo le scalinate sono presenti finestre che danno all'interno del pozzo. Orvieto is a small town in Umbria at about 1 hour ride from Terni. Like the majority of the medieval towns in umbria is in the midle of green mountains and built on a hill. It's a very pretty town that is worth seeing is you will be in Umbria. It is mainly famous for 2 things: the cathedral and S. Patrizio well. The well is particular because of its 2 spiral stairs that never meet and walkable by dunkies. All along the stairs that are windows that open inside the well.
